Artist's Description

In 2015, the grizzly sow known as Raspberry, the daughter of Blaze, emerged from her den with two cubs of the year. Nicknamed Rocky and Snow, the cubs made their first appearance in late June. Sadly, Rocky did not survive, but Snow appears to be thriving under his mother's care and has grown into a healthy little cub.

I've always loved animals and nature and have been photographing both since I was a little girl in Long Island toting around my Kodak Instamatic. My lifelong love of all things wild and furry led me to relocate from New York to Wyoming to be close to the area's wealth of wildlife. During my first visit to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem in 1994, I felt a special connection to the area and was determined to make it my home. I now live outside the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park in nearby, Wapiti, Wyoming. Since I left my corporate job, I spends most of my days in the company of the wildlife and wild horses that call this area home. Currently, most of my time is devoted to observing and documenting the wild horses of...
