Description
The pinto stallion, Traveler, and his friend, Snoodle, wait for their turn at the waterhole. Before he teamed up with Traveler, 16-year-old Snoodle was a band stallion for many years. Unfortunately, in 2018 he was terribly injured when he fought unsuccessfully to keep his band. He wandered the range alone for more than a year, sometimes traveling with other bachelors, but not for long. In November of 2019, perennial bachelor, Traveler, joined up with the injured older stallion. I've seen stallions band together for the winter months many times, but they usually part once the weather improves. Not these two. Since last year, Traveler and Snoodle have become inseparable.
