Artist's Description

Wolf pups are born with blue eyes. At around eight weeks of age, the pups eyes will turn green and will finally reach their adult color which can be anything from pale yellow, to amber or even orange or brown. Whatever the color, there is nothing like looking into the piercing eyes of a wolf.

I've always loved animals and nature and have been photographing both since I was a little girl in Long Island toting around my Kodak Instamatic. My lifelong love of all things wild and furry led me to relocate from New York to Wyoming to be close to the area's wealth of wildlife. During my first visit to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem in 1994, I felt a special connection to the area and was determined to make it my home. I now live outside the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park in nearby, Wapiti, Wyoming. Since I left my corporate job, I spends most of my days in the company of the wildlife and wild horses that call this area home.
