In my opinion, the stallion, Thor, is one of the most beautiful horses on the range. He has a very unique coloration, he's a grey pinto, and his marking look like they're splattered on with a paintbrush. This is much different from the other pintos at the Peaks whose markings have smooth and refined edges making it look like they're painted on with care.
I've always loved animals and nature and have been photographing both since I was a little girl in Long Island toting around my Kodak Instamatic. My lifelong love of all things wild and furry led me to relocate from New York to Wyoming to be close to the area's wealth of wildlife.
