Wolf Moon Canvas Print

As June's Strawberry Moon lingered above Yellowstone Lake, a lone wolf appeared on a high ridge. For a few moments, the wolf walked alone, silhouetted against the morning sky. And as quickly as he appeared....he was gone. Although this event lasted only a few seconds, it's one that I'll remember for a lifetime.

I've always loved animals and nature and have been photographing both since I was a little girl in Long Island toting around my Kodak Instamatic. My lifelong love of all things wild and furry led me to relocate from New York to Wyoming to be close to the area's wealth of wildlife. During my first visit to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem in 1994, I felt a special connection to the area and was determined to make it my home. I now live outside the East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park in nearby, Wapiti, Wyoming.
